dorothy m. harris (pre-service teacher education task force) is professor of early education courses, supervisor of early childhood clinical experiences, and the coordinator of the early childhood program at francis marion university. dr. harris is a graduate of johnson c. smith university, atlanta university, and the university of georgia. her educational training is in the areas of philosophy, psychology, and early childhood education. her work experience includes being a nursery school teacher and director, and teaching at both private and public elementary schools. prior to her appointment at francis marion university, dr. harris taught at fort valley state college in fort valley, georgia.
