gloria
swindler boutte’ (pre-service
teacher education task force) is a professor of education
at benedict college in columbia, south carolina. she is the author
of multicultural education: raising consciousness and resounding
voices: school experiences of people from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
she has also authored numerous other publications related to diversity.
dr. boutte’ has presented nationally and internationally on
diversity issues and enjoys working with teachers and schools. she
is also the principal investigator for the center of excellence
for the education and equity of african american students in columbia,
south carolina.
