lorin
w. anderson (coordinator of research
& in-service teacher development, in-service
teacher education task force) is a carolina distinguished
professor of curriculum studies at the university of south carolina,
where he has served on the faculty since 1973. he holds a ph.d.
in measurement, evaluation, and statistical analysis from the university
of chicago. dr. anderson’s research interests include classroom
instruction, student engagement in learning, and the education of
economically-disadvantages children and youth. he is a member of
the international academy of education.
