| FMU Center of Excellence Directory Markey Bee (COE Project Manager; School-Parent-Community Liaison) received her B.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maryland at College Park and master’s degree in Education from Cambridge College in Massachusetts. Involved in early childhood education for over twenty five years, her previous experiences include kindergarten teacher, day care services coordinator for the Department of Social Services, education specialist at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and education consultant providing training and technical assistance to public, private and federally funded early childhood professionals. Bee is trained in the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale (ECERS) and she was a member of the writing team for the South Carolina ECERS Training Modules. She currently serves as the Representative for the Coastal Cluster of the South Carolina Association for the Education of Young Children. |
