activity 1: school-parent-community (spc) liaison & national network of
partnership schools project

presently on staff with the center of excellence as school-parent-community (spc) liaison is markey bee. the purpose of employing such a person is threefold: first, to give the center a visible presence in the communities in which the three participating school districts are located; second, to gather information about how best to reach and help parents living in those communities; and third, to find ways of make the best use of community-based resources. the center’s school-parent community (spc) liaison also serves as the primary contact for partner districts with the national network of partnership schools.
