| fmu center of excellence goals and activities: goal 4 - activity 4 activity 4: initiate the master’s degree program. the center of excellence will hire a director, admit an initial cohort of students into the master’s program, and begin to offer courses leading to the degree. this activity will begin late in year 3 (2007) and be completed in year 4 (2007-2008). full implementation of the master’s program will take place in year 5 (2008-2009).
