| fmu center of excellence goals and activities: goal 5 - activity 4 activity 4: publish a quarterly series of position papers. the center of excellence will publish a quarterly series of position papers or policy papers on critical issues pertaining to the education of children of poverty. the center will solicit authors for these papers from university faculty, researchers, legislators, and policy analysts. the audience for the papers would be administrators and policy makers. this activity would begin in year 3 (2006-2007) and continue through year 5 (2008-2009).
