e. evaluation plan
the proposed
project will be managed with a commitment to a continuous improvement
process. the center director has selected dr. duane rupert as a
qualified independent evaluation consultant (iec) to work with center
staff and consulting faculty to develop systems to efficiently collect
and organize data for later analysis. the purpose of evaluation
is to produce objective data to keep all stakeholders focused on
results. the evaluation data will be extremely helpful to the center
director and advisory committee as it relates to the continuous
improvement management strategy. project components will be constantly
monitored and modifications will be considered on the basis of data-driven
decisions. any program component not meeting its objectives will
be given top priority for possible modifications. all quantitative
and qualitative project data will be available to other groups wishing
to implement similar projects. the iec will also make frequent visits
to: validate evaluation processes; review quantity and quality of
data; and help prepare annual reports. the iec will perform an annual
report that will be used for improvement of the project and will
complete all reporting requirements of the funding agreement.
the indicators
listed in the “measures” column of the table found on
page 5 will provide a contextualized snapshot of each activity that
will help the iec and center staff understand their project. all
project components will be modified as needed by data-driven program
decisions. project evaluation will be accomplished in three ways:
