standards-based social studies curriculum units
during
the 2005-2006 school year, 27 teachers (listed below), working
in grade-level teams of three, developed a standards-based curriculum
for each grade level, k-8. the curriculum consists of a set of
curriculum units, approximately 7 per grade level, that are linked
with the state standards and are intended to actively engage students
in the process of learning social studies. the units are listed
below as well.
