"Healthersize Night"

• Goal was to strengthen the six types of involvement especially through learning at home
• Held an event in the community they felt wasn't being reached
• Talked about health and had a lot of community help
  • McLeod Health gave resources and books were ordered from usbornbooks.com
• All of the children were given a book, jump rope, and recipes for healthy snacks
• All of the parents were given a list of resources in the community
• They were one of Francis Marion University's NNPS outreach grants recipients
