• If parents didn't respond, they sat down and called them and asked them why they weren't coming

"ESL Back to School Night"

• Spanish speaking teacher spoke to ESL parents
  • She gave all of them the information that is sent home (handbook, etc.) in Spanish
  • During the year, she would translate homework into Spanish
