The Center of Excellence holds the work that P-12 educators do every day at a very high regard. The Center wants to assist and aid these educators as much as possible with funding their educational ideas and projects. The P-12 Professional Development Outreach Project is the Center’s initiative to do just that. The recipient of the Outreach Project will receive funding to focus on the development or expansion of best practices or specific strategies for teaching children of poverty. The research that is submitted must be designed to study the population to validate issues regarding educating children of poverty in the Pee Dee area educational community and /or educating children of poverty in the state-wide educational community.
