Roberta Duvall, a middle-school principal in Nevada, wants to improve her school by focusing on implementing more social and emotional learning methods among teachers. Duvall has been focusing on SEL since 2014 and says it’s important to work on these issues in a tense environment of budget cuts and crowded classrooms.
