In July 2013, the Professional Dyads and Culturally Relevant Teaching (PDCRT) program was created to provide a space for supporting early childhood school-based educators of color who teach children of color, English Language Learners, and children from low-income communities in the formal study, documentation, and dissemination of culturally relevant practices in early childhood classrooms.
