Three schools in Florence earned a 2017 Partnership School Award from the National Network of Partnership Schools at Johns Hopkins University. Delmae Elementary School, John W. Moore Intermediate School and South Florence High School received awards for their progress in strengthening and sustaining a comprehensive program of school, family and community partnerships.
