Some school districts are using creative approaches to expand access to educational resources for students who are among the Federal Communications Commission’s estimated 21 million to be without broadband internet. A number of PBS affiliates are providing TV-based educational programming, and a school district in South Dakota has installed physical drop boxes for students to pick up and hand in work.
