A West Virginia elementary school has adopted the One School, One Book program in which all staff, students and their families are asked to read the same book. This year’s book is “The Pet War” by Allan Woodrow, and staff are generating excitement about reading it by offering prizes, using social media to announce the title, and asking families to share photos on the school’s Facebook page of their children reading the book.
