Third- through fifth-grade students in Chambersburg, Pa., are practicing coding, building rockets and learning about the human body using augmented reality in their elementary school library’s makerspaces. The science, technology, engineering and math program in Marybeth Maloskey’s library ranges from creating objects on iPads to making a pinball-like game using paper plates.
