Two Rivers Public Charter School recently wrapped up its first Deeper Learning Cohort, a yearlong program focused on helping teachers define, teach, and assess critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Funded by the Assessment for Learning Project, the cohort brought together teachers from both the District of Columbia school system and the city’s charter sector to grow our collective professional practice around the cognitive skills we all agree our students need.

As we all face this time of unprecedented challenges, your Center of Excellence to Prepare Teachers of Children of Poverty staff is working remotely to continue and expand our efforts to support your needs.

While our delivery methods and activities will shift during this time, we are working every day to develop and curate resources that will help you now and when we resume face-to-face activities.
