$100K Available for Classroom Innovations. Private Funder: Kids In Need Foundation; Opportunity: 2015 Kids In Need Teacher Grants; Funding Focus: K-12 classroom education; Geographic Focus: National; Eligibility: Schools and classroom teachers; Funding:$500 each; Deadline: Applications will be available online from July 15 through Sept. 30. More than $100,000 is being offered to K-12 teachers at any public, private or parochial school to improve classroom education. Grants go for innovative classroom projects on almost any topic. The Kids In Need Foundation’s website includes a long list of education-minded corporate partners (www.kinf.org/partners). This is a good prospecting list for grantseekers, because if a corporation partners with a K-12 focused foundation, odds are they also have giving programs in that area.
