Eighth-graders in the National Junior Honor Society at Florida’s Lecanto Middle School volunteered their time to hold a chemistry class for kindergartners. The middle-schoolers performed experiments designed to get the younger children interested in science at a level appropriate for their age and earned community service credit through volunteering.
