Administrators in a Georgia district are looking to community groups to help students read at grade level by third grade. Sung Hui Lewis, the district’s assistant superintendent of teaching and learning, recently spoke about the “Lit 3 — Ask Me” initiative to promote conversations around improving early-literacy efforts and reaching targets.
