A group of Michigan 12th-grade students recently interviewed and wrote biographies of residents at a senior-living center for the “Seniors to Seniors History Project” for their English class. The project helps students develop communication skills through the process of interviewing and allows them to learn to write for an authentic audience, teacher Tammy Wiles said.
