An elementary school is offering an after-school writing club to students as part of a Washington, D.C., “Excellence in Equity” program. Through a partnership with the Anthology Project, the club engages students in learning literacy and social and emotional learning through creative writing about their lives and experiences that will be collected in anthologies.
