Co-teaching appears to be growing in popularity, but current research shows mixed results concerning its outcomes. Its success hinges on providing educators with the time, training and resources they need to manage their partnership and integrate their teaching, says Marilyn Friend, professor emerita at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
