More schools are implementing trauma-sensitive practices, including Bethlehem Elementary School in New Hampshire where almost 1 in 3 of its students has experienced three or more traumatic events. Support practices at the school include break rooms, where students can get a snack, rest in a designated area or talk with one of the trauma specialists.
