English teachers Emily Davidson and Dan Fong organized a series of “rigged” games to help their Nebraska middle-schoolers learn about social disadvantages in the novel “The Outsiders.” The seventh-graders played games in which one team had a clear advantage over the other, and then wrote reflective essays on how they felt about the experience.
