A Florida school district has partnered with the Community Foundation of Broward to offer the School is Cool program that places two counselors each in 10 middle schools to help address behavior, attendance and poor grades through emotional wellness. The program is expected to expand to 15 more middle schools next year and to all middle schools in two school years.
