Jaclyn Wehmeier, a finalist for the 2019 Indiana Teacher of the Year, says visiting her students at home changed how she views homework. In this interview, she shares that she started to assign less homework after she saw that many of the students do not have a quiet place to work at home and homework was creating unnecessary stress.
