The concept of “screen time” for children is often demonized in the media, but technology can play a vital role in learning, Lisa Guernsey says in this interview. Guernsey says mindless screen use or using devices as babysitters can be detrimental, but technology use for educational purposes should be evaluated based on content, context, and whether the user is creating or consuming.
