Survey data from 132 adult caregivers showed the best way to promote exercise among children with neurodevelopmental disorders is to make it fun and focus on activities that come easily to them. The study, presented at the American Medical Association Research Symposium, found lack of skill was a bigger barrier to exercise than financial or transportation issues.
