School Leaders Collaborative

The Center of Excellence to Prepare Teachers of Children of Poverty continues to seek ways to serve educators across the state. School leaders in a recent event indicated a need for engagement with others in similar roles, especially since the pandemic has halted most conferences and other non-essential meetings. In response to that need, you are invited to join an online event that will facilitate discussions with others who share similar goals, needs, and challenges.
Designed especially for educational leaders, including superintendents and district leaders, and principals, assistant principals, coaches, coordinators, and other school-level leaders, the first School Leaders Collaborative will convene on April 20, 2021 from 9:00 – 10:30 AM. This free event will offer informal collaboration and networking opportunities for school leaders.
While the Center will host the meeting and facilitate, the agenda is intentionally designed to be driven by participant roles, interests, and needs. This event will provide a forum for you to connect with other school and district leaders to share, learn, and lead:
- Welcome Introductions and Goals – 5 minutes
- Facilitate inter-district communications and discussions in a distance format around Center mission
- Share successes and challenges
- Share resources, needs and questions
- Facilitate networking and supports
- Breakout 1 – Breakout by School Level – 15 minutes
