Online Teaching Children of Poverty Scholars (TCOPS): Celebration & Student Teacher of The Semester Award

The Teaching Children of Poverty SCHOLARS (TCOPS) professional organization began in 2018. SCHOLARS
meets monthly to network and to study TCOP practices. Face-to-face meetings were replaced by distance
events due to the national pandemic and because the distance events allowed student teachers from off campus,
along with graduate students and in-service teachers to participate via Zoom, the distance has continued.
