Students with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and dyslexia at the Sandhills School in South Carolina do yoga and other purposeful movements to help calm their bodies and minds. Students say the breathing exercises they learn in the yoga sessions help them concentrate and relax when they’re back in the classroom.
