The unstructured nature of summer break can cause anxiety among some students, says Sasha Zagoloff, a clinical child psychologist with University of Minnesota Health. In this interview, she describes how lack of sleep, unpredictability and potential worry about the start of the school year can lead to “summertime anxiety.”
